What specifically was your favorite part about working with me and why?
My favorite part about working with Debi was that she was fun to work with. She has a great personality and is on top of her real estate game. Debi helped me purchase my first home when I was 26 years old (and I was stressed out like crazy with a brand new job at the time and a recession), however, she was there to help me through the process and explain how and why there are so many moving parts (the contracts, the amendments, the mortgage, the money/deposit, the closing, title, HUD, title attorney, etc…). I honestly thought I had promised my first born with all the contract items but Debi helped me through it, every step of the way. Thanks Debi!

If you were to recommend me to your best friend, what would you say?
I actually did recommend Debi to my best friend when he moved out of DC and was trying to figure out whether he wanted to rent out his home or sell it. Debi helped me purchase my first home, rent it out, she managed the rental, and then she sold it, so I naturally recommended her to my best friend. She’s a go-getter and was always able to accomplish what I needed done; very efficiently and effectively. Life took me all over the place while I owned my first home (through four moves) and she helped keep me sane with regards to my home.

What surprised you most about working with me?
Debi has a great personality, she is fun, she constantly has me laughing and she is a joy/relief to work with. I also know she is super busy with her job and family life/raising her boys. She always made time for my calls and always kept in touch (and still does over a decade later 😊). She truly cares about her clients and I really appreciate that given the aggressive DC real estate market. She reaches out to ask about how my family is and we’ve kept in touch over the years. She is the kind of person you would not mind having a long lunch with or grabbing a drink with after a long work day. If I ever move back into the DC area, she will be the first person I reach out to for help buying another home.
